Meet The Team

Dr. Kyle Duncan was born and raised in Litchfield, OH. He developed a passion for animals at a young age and decided to follow his father’s footsteps to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He first attended Bowling Green State University earning a bachelor's degree in biological sciences, then after graduating from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 he moved back to his hometown to join the Litchfield Veterinary Clinic. His professional interests include general surgery and preventive medicine. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking with his wife and two dogs.

Dr. Jessie Hennessey, a Michigan native, knew she wanted to become a veterinarian since she was young. Raised amongst her family's stable of horses she was always taking care of animals. She attended Ferris State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Biology. From there she worked in the animal pharmaceutical industry before attending Vet School. After graduation she completed a one year internship in Snohomish, WA focusing on equine medicine and surgery. She returned to the midwest, working as an equine ambulatory veterinarian until joining Litchfield Veterinary Clinic in 2018. Additionally Dr. Jessie is certified in veterinary spinal manipulation therapy as well as acupuncture. She enjoys all aspects of medicine and believes each patient should be treated as an individual. Outside of work her pastimes are running, yoga, reading and gardening.

Dr. David Duncan has been a staple of Litchfield Veterinary Clinic for nearly 40 years. Many of our long term clients may remember him for his time spent on their farms. Over the years the field of veterinary medicine changed which shifted his focus to primarily small animals. In late 2021 Dr. Duncan retired from the practice but continues to make guest appearances, doing what he does so well. When he's not seeing patients Dr. Duncan enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with his granddaughter, and searching for Sasquatch!
